1	GRE QC INSPECTOR	5	AED 7000-AED 10,000	MIN 5 YRS EXP IN GCC OIL & GASI NDUSTRY DIPLOMA OR BACHELOR’S DEGREE CSWIP 3.1 CERTIFIED WELDING INSPECTOR OR EQUIVALENT AS MINIMUM. FAMILIAR WITH CONSTRUCTION CODES ASME B 31.3, ASME B 31.4, API 1104, AWS D1.1 ETC GRE Certification by Future Pipe Industries (FPI) or Equivalent

 

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for QA/QC Inspections
•  Responsible for Monitoring Project Quality KPI’s
•  Responsible for Piping/Structure Inspections coordination
• Welding Inspection-Pre-Welding, During welding & after welding stages on Inspection.
•  Witnessing of PQR Welding, Mechanical tests & Documentation etc.
•  Qualification of Welders and monitoring their performance.
•  Pipeline Inspection. WPS in accordance with API 1104. ROW & Pipeline Laying Inspection ASME
• 31.4 & 31.8. Testing and cleaning (pigging, flushing) of Pipelines.
•  Piping Inspection. Installation in accordance with ASME B31.3. Support installation verification and final testing (pneumatic, hydro & diesel)
•  Chemical Cleaning/Pickling and Passivation. Verification of cleaning procedures and testing of items
• Coordinating the inspection with Project team with the supervisors and foreman.
•  Carrying out material inspections such as Welding, Painting, Piping, Structural etc.
•  Inspecting and coordinating the piping Fabrication/Erection activities along with fit up inspections and documentation.
•  Preparation of AS BUILT DRAWINGS according to the client’s scope.
• Witnessing the pressure test like Pneumatic testing and Hydro test as per requirements
•  Responsible for raising Non-Conformance Reports
•  Any other QA/QC Responsibilities assigned as per Project Quality requirements.

 

GRE Experience

•  GRE Certification by Future Pipe Industries (FPI) or Equivalent
•  Good knowledge in GRE Pipe Adhesive Bonding Techniques
•  Good knowledge in GRE Pipe Lamination Techniques
•  Step-wise Inspection as per QCP like Material handling and storage, Verification of test certificate of GRE pipe, pre-padding, stringing, installation, field thread preparation & hydro test.
•  Inspect the storage of adhesive material at store & site.
•  Witness the installation of fittings like elbows, flanges, couplings & nipples. Inspect the sand  bags placement on pipe in road crossing section during hydro test.
•  Co-ordination with the Clients for inspection. Inspect the post-padding done on GRE.
