Job Description:

Globus is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented professional who sources materials and services on their company's behalf. Also willing to understand the material and service needs of their company and can stand on the front lines negotiating and making certain that the business gets the best value in terms of quality, quantity, and price.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven 5+ years of experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong negotiation and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in purchasing software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) will be an additional advantage.
• Most important is that all applicants must be able to speak, read and write in English (Official language of Palau).

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain positive supplier relationships.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Analyze market trends to forecast procurement needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet supply chain requirements.
