Asst Mechanic - Heavy Equipment

*    Experience Minimum : 0-2 years experience required
Qualification: ITI (Mechanical / Automobile)  Age limit 25 - 30 Years
Detect and diagnose faults in engines and parts
Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and check parts
Repair and replace worn and defective parts and reassemble mechanical components, and refer to service manuals as needed
Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune- ups to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations
Reassemble engines and parts after being repaired
Test and adjust mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance, diagnose and test parts with the assistance of computers.

* Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding and monitoring of the heavy equipment and other related equipment and carry out the tasks assigned by Foreman and Supervisor
* Ensure maximum operational availability of heavy equipment by diagnostic work and repair methods
* Submit routine inspection and monitoring reports as required
* Carry out duties independently when called out and report breakdowns and faults
* Assume additional responsibility for heavy equipment maintenance in the absence of Foreman

Key Responsibilities:

Help diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy equipment.

Support engineers in troubleshooting and using diagnostic tools for complex equipment issues.
