Job Purpose

We are seeking a seasoned Planning Engineer to oversee and manage the project schedules. This role is critical in ensuring that all EPC phases—encompassing civil, mechanical, electrical, and process systems—are synchronized and executed within the established timelines for high-capacity power and desalination infrastructure.

Job Requirement

• Education: Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 7 to 12 years of proven experience specifically within EPC projects for Power Plants, Desalination, or large-scale Water Treatment plants
• Technical Skills: Expertise in Primavera P6, Progress Measurement, and EOT claims

Key Responsibilities

• Baseline Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive baseline schedules for Power Plant and Desalination (RO/SWRO) facilities.
• Work Breakdown: Establish detailed WBS and activity networks, ensuring logical sequencing of EPC activities.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor the full lifecycle of the project, including procurement, offshore/onshore fabrication, site installation, and final commissioning.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the central nervous system between Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams to provide real-time schedule updates.
• Reporting & Analysis: Design progress measurement systems and weightage distributions. Generate variance reports, S-curves, and recovery plans for management.
• Claims & Extensions: Lead the preparation of delay analyses and forensic scheduling to support Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise directly with clients and consultants for schedule approvals and technical clarifications.
