Job Description

We are hiring Civil Engineers for large-scale construction projects in Mauritius. The role involves site execution, project coordination, quality control, safety compliance, and documentation across various construction activities.

Key Requirements

• Profile:  Civil Engineer
• Qualification:
  • BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering ONLY  (Mandatory)
• Experience:  Minimum 3+ years in construction projects
• Age Limit:  Up to 38 years
• Language:  Fluent in English (Speaking & Writing)
• Computer Skills:  Strong knowledge of MS Excel; AutoCAD is an added advantage
• Driving License:  Preferred (Not mandatory)
• Health:  Candidate must be medically fit (pre-employment medical required)
   

Job Responsibilities

• Site mobilization and supervision
• Project planning and execution as per approved drawings
• Monitoring construction progress and reporting
• Quality assurance and inspection of materials and work
• Reinforcement, shuttering, concreting inspections
• Site survey, setting out, excavation and leveling checks
• Coordination with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
• Cost monitoring, variation analysis, and documentation
• Safety (HSE) compliance and site management
• Environmental compliance monitoring
• Maintaining project documentation and reports
• Technical support to site staff and workers
• Ensuring adherence to design and engineering standards

 

Benefits

• Type:  Employment Contract
• Contract Period:  3 Years (Renewable)
• Working Hours:  45 hours per week
• Working Days:  6 days per week

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary:  MUR 45,000 (Approx. INR 90,000) starting (based on experience)
