A steel worker (or structural ironworker)  fabricates, erects, and installs steel components for buildings, bridges, and infrastructure . They read blueprints, use tools like welding torches and lasers to cut, shape, and align steel beams and rebar. This role requires high physical fitness, ability to work at heights, and strict adherence to safety protocols.
