Electrical testing Engineer - OMAN

B.E in Electrical Engineering or Diploma  with minimum 3+years experience  

Duty Hours 10 hours duty 

Leave rotation 1 year/30 days ,Company will provide  bachelor accommodation and food/food allowance.

1. Switchgear Testing:
2. Conducting routine testing and inspections of switchgear components such as circuit breakers, relays, disconnect switches, and protective devices.
3. Performing functional tests to verify the correct operation of switchgear equipment.
4. Conducting insulation resistance tests, contact resistance tests, and timing tests to assess the performance of switchgear.
5. Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults or abnormalities in switchgear systems.
6. Relay Testing:
7. Testing and calibrating protective relays used in power systems to ensure proper operation during fault conditions.
8. Verifying relay settings and coordination with other protective devices.
9. Conducting primary and secondary injection tests to validate the performance of protective relays.
10. Troubleshooting relay malfunctions and developing solutions to rectify issues.
11. SCADA Communication Establishment:
12. Configuring and commissioning communication protocols and interfaces for SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
13. Establishing data communication between field devices, RTUs (Remote Terminal Units), and the SCADA control center.
14. Conducting network diagnostics and troubleshooting communication issues in SCADA systems.
15. Collaborating with the SCADA team to ensure seamless integration and reliable data exchange.
16. Testing Equipment:
17. Proficiently operating a range of testing equipment such as power analyzers, relay test sets, circuit breaker analyzers, and insulation testers.
18. Conducting routine maintenance and calibration of testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
19. Staying updated with the latest testing methodologies and equipment advancements in the field of electrical testing.
20. Documentation and Reporting:
21. Preparing comprehensive test reports detailing the test procedures, results, and any anomalies encountered during testing.
22. Maintaining accurate records of test data, equipment configurations, and test specifications.
23.
