Planning Engineer ( Electrical ) - OMAN

B.E in Electrical Engineering  with minimum  3+years experience 

Duty Hours 10 hours duty 

Leave rotation 1 year/30 days ,Company will provide  bachelor accommodation and food/food allowance.

1. Project Planning:
2. Collaborating with project managers and engineers to develop electrical project plans and schedules.
3. Assessing project requirements, specifications, and scope to determine the necessary electrical planning activities.
4. Identifying critical paths, milestones, and key deliverables in the project schedule.
5. Resource Allocation and Management
6. Estimating the required electrical resources such as manpower, equipment, and materials for project execution.
7. Collaborating with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of electrical resources.
8. Optimizing resource allocation to maximize productivity and efficiency.
9. Work Breakdown Structure (WBS):
10. Developing a detailed work breakdown structure for electrical project activities.
11. Breaking down the project scope into manageable tasks and subtasks.
12. Assigning timelines, dependencies, and responsibilities to each task in the WBS.
13. Schedule Development and Maintenance:
14. Creating and maintaining the project schedule for electrical activities.
15. Incorporating task durations, dependencies, and resource availability into the schedule.
16. Updating the schedule regularly to reflect progress, changes, and delays.
17. Utilizing Planning Software:
18. Utilizing planning software such as ProVision or Primavera P6 for project planning and scheduling purposes.
19. Leveraging the features of the software to efficiently manage and track electrical project schedules, resources, and milestones.
20. Proficiently using the software to generate reports, analyze project data, and make informed decisions.
21. Progress Monitoring and Reporting:
22. Monitoring the progress of electrical activities against the planned schedule.
23. Identifying any deviations, delays, or bottlenecks and analyzing their impact on the overall project timeline.
24. Generating progress reports and presenting them to project stakeholders.
25. Coordination and Communication:
26. Collaborating with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment of electrical planning with overall project objectives.
27. Facilitating effective communication and coordination between different stakeholders.
28. Conducting regular meetings to discuss project status, resolve issues, and update the project plan as needed.
29. Risk Management:
30. Identifying potential risks and uncertainties that may impact the electrical planning and project schedule.
31. Assessing the likelihood and impact of risks and developing mitigation strategies.
32. Monitoring and managing risks throughout the project lifecycle.
33. Continuous Improvement:
34. Evaluating the effectiveness of electrical planning processes and identifying areas for improvement.
35. Implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
