Tank Inspector

Qualification: Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
• Minimum 10 years exp experience of which 5 years in a TANK INSPECTOR role and Oil and Gas Industry 
Gulf Experience Must.
• Should have Storage tank repair and Maintenance  Experience
• Preparation of job/contract specific I.T.Ps /QCP.
• Liason with shop manager, supervisors and client inspectors for inspection and work progress.
• Responsible for customer supplied material, incoming material inspections and compilation and review of MTCs / NDT reports and release of material carryout welding inspection / painting inspection / painting inspection and maintain records.
• Prepare and update weld history includig NDT status and review of the weld history.
• Final mechanical conpletion inspection and clearance prior to PWHT/Hydro test/ dispatch.
• Implementation of QA/QC activities including those of sub contractors workd in accordance with approved QCP/ITPs and procedures, method statements and other contract documets.
• Maintains calibration of inspection measuring and tesr equipment's.
• Raising NCRs and initiare timely corrective action and preventive actions on NCR/CAPARs/customer complaints.
 
Certification : API – 653 
Work Location : Sohar, Oman
 
Salary: OMR 1000 + Free Food, Accommodation and Transportation will be provided by company)
Leave Cycle: After 8 months 30 days paid leave
