Senior Proposal Engineer 

 
Qualification: B.E / B.tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 
• Minimum 10 Years of experience into oil&gas industry
• Estimation and Proposals, with good knowledge of Maintenance & Turnaround/shutdowns and Construction projects. 
• Candidates with exposure in Oil & Gas industries is mandatory requirement. 
• Minimum recent experience in Qatar or Saudi as Lead estimator – 5 years is mandatory
• Sould be experience to work on Mechanical, E&I and Civil Tenders
Roles & Responsibilities
1. To review the client specifications thoroughly and prepare brief scope, compliance matrix as per business acquisition process
2. Participate in the internal kick off meeting, reviews, Key solution analysis.etc. 
3. Discuss & finalize the outcomes of strategy setting matrix, competitor analysis as per business acquisition process
4. Prepare key technical documents (project execution plan, organisation chart, resource histograms and so on)
5. To undertake ongoing technical and commercial clarifications, requested by the client, throughout the life of the tenders (Prebid & Post bid), and support the team through to successful order placement. 
6. Participate in the client discussions during the tender submissions for technical or commercial terms.
7. May be required to take off MTO(mechanical) based on the available client drawings
8. To obtain sub-vendor compliant quotations for bought out items & carryout technical bid analysis
9. Coordination with concerned departments(based in Oman) to compile techno-commercial proposal
10. Prepare detailed cost estimate in line with tender requirements/addendums
11. Preparation, compilation of project specific technical & commercial proposal as per bid requirements and participate in internal commercial review meetings
12. Post award contract review 
13. Participate in the project initiation/handover meeting
14. Maintain data base for various estimates for the typical jobs tendered and feedback from the execution departments for future reference.
