Position: Concrete Engineer

Experience: 15-20 Years

Academic Qualification: Bachelor of Civil Engineering  

Prime Responsibility :The concrete engineer will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of concrete structures, such as buildings, bridges, roads, dams and other minor and mega civil construction projects. To Establish Concrete Testing laboratory in accordance to ASTM and European Standards

Job Responsibilities includes following requirements 

1. Analyzing project requirements and determining the best type of concrete to use.
2. Developing structural design plans and specifications for concrete structures.
3. Overseeing the concrete mixtures related site application e.g. standard Concrete, Shotcrete & UHPC
4. Monitoring construction and ensuring that concrete structures are built according to design specifications.
5. Conducting inspections to ensure the quality and integrity of concrete structures.
6. Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success.
7. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the construction process.
8. Adhering to industry standards and regulations related to concrete construction.
9. Providing technical support and expertise on concrete-related matters.
10. Keeping up-to-date with advances in concrete technology and construction methods.
11. Adjust mix designs to meet project-specific requirements (strength, durability,​workability).
12. Understand common concrete materials and their impact on concrete performance.
13. Ability to create team of quality control technicians and resource required for concrete testing
14. Developing control procedures of concrete according to prevailing national & international standards
15. Know how to develop quality management systems for concrete Labs & Procedures
