Lead QA QC Engineer Job Details

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in line with corporate, client, and contractual requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, project specifications, and approved method statements.
- Supervise and guide QA/QC teams across all project phases (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning).
- Conduct quality audits, inspections, and surveillance to verify adherence to standards.
- Review and approve quality documentation (ITPs, procedures, manuals, NCRs, corrective actions).
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and subcontractors on all quality?related matters.
- Provide QA/QC statistics and reports to senior management and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
- Mentor junior QA/QC engineers and ensure proper training and awareness of quality standards.
- Ensure document control systems are maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- 10-15 years of QA/QC experience in EPC projects within oil & gas and petrochemical industries.
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO).
- Experience in inspection, testing, and certification processes for piping, welding, structural, and rotating equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure compliance under tight schedules.
QC Roles / Certifications:
- CSWIP 3.1 / AWS Certified Welding Inspector – for welding inspection and quality assurance.
- NDT Level II / III Certification – in methods such as RT, UT, MT, PT.
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification – for quality management system audits.
- Familiarity with API 570/510/653 certifications (piping, pressure vessels, tanks) is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of HSE standards and integration of safety with quality practices.
Cost Estimation Engineers Job Details:-

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for engineering, procurement, and construction activities across oil & gas and petrochemical projects.
- Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and project data to forecast material, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Develop and maintain cost databases, benchmarks, and estimation tools to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Support feasibility studies, bid proposals, and tender submissions with reliable cost projections.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to align estimates with project scope and schedules.
- Identify potential cost risks and opportunities and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, budget breakdowns, and cost reports for management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and international codes in all cost estimation activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related discipline).
- 7–12 years of experience in cost estimation within EPC projects, preferably in oil & gas and petrochemical industries.
- Strong knowledge of project cost control methodologies, estimation software, and industry benchmarks.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Primavera, SAP, or other cost management tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate estimates within tight deadlines.
Roles / Certifications:
- Certified Cost Professional (CCP) - AACE International.
- Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) - AACE International.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI (preferred for EPC project environments).
- ISO 9001:2015 Awareness/Lead Auditor Certification - beneficial for quality integration in estimation.
- Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and international tendering procedures.
