LEAD CIVIL ENGINEER

The Lead Civil Engineer shall be BSc University degree in any of the main Engineering branches, i.e. Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, or equivalent with Minimum 15 years’ experience in Brown Field Oil and Gas Projects in a multidiscipline Workforce.

He shall be responsible for the complete administration and organization of construction and field personnel and directs the field effort through the activities of his staff.

The specific responsibilities of the Lead Civil Engineer include but not limited to the listed below:

• Leading the management of HSE in the field by demonstrating visible HSE Leadership.
• Leading in developing the execution portion of the schedule for the project.
• Providing input to the development of Project Execution Plans and Risk Registers.
• Developing the Site resourcing plan and selecting/mobilizing the Site Team.
• Ensuring adequate Contractor supervisory, HSE and QA/QC cover of Contractor activities always.
• Establishment of the project temporary Site facilities.

• Ensuring implementation of COMPANY HSSE Plan and Contractor HSSE Plans.
• Ensuring implementation of COMPANY Quality Plan and Contractor Quality Plans.
• Ensuring established systems are implemented to monitor construction schedules.
• Ensuring material storage/warehousing requirements are identified and notify Company’s focal point of project requirements.
• Monitoring of Technical Queries.
• Liaising with COMPANY Contracts section on all construction related commercial matters.
• Managing interfaces on Site including between contractors, and between Construction and Operations.
