B-0747/CHEN/PER/1000+/5/9092/2014 S PASS JOB VACANCY QUANTITY SURVEYOR (QS) Must have experience in Curtain Walls, Doors & Windows POSITION DETAILS Position: Quantity Surveyor (QS) Experience: Must have experience in Curtain Walls, Doors & Windows Pass Type: S Pass Gender: Male / Female Age: Below 35 years old SALARY & BENEFITS Basic Salary: SGD 3,000–5,000/month Housing Allowance: Self WORKING HOURS Monday to Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM 8 days off per month REQUIREMENTS Strong experience in Quantity Surveying for curtain walls, aluminium doors and windows Relevant construction QS experience is mandatory Candidates with Singapore experience are preferred Good English communication skills Must be experienced, reliable and able to work independently JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Review construction drawings and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) Review material, maintenance and contract costs Liaise with site managers, clients, contractors and subcontractors Prepare reports, contracts, budgets and risk assessments Advise management and clients on cost-saving and improvement strategies Order and monitor construction materials Record design changes and update project budgets Handle other QS-related duties as assigned WORK ARRANGEMENT The position is primarily office-based, with occasional travel for meetings or site-related matters. Specific arrangements will be determined by the employer.
