Safety Officers - Qatar

Rehman Enterprises is a leading group of companies specializing in manufacture and construction of prefabricated buildings, steel structures, industrial engineering solutions, including structural fabrication. We are seeking experienced Safety Officers to join our team in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor company HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Conduct regular site and risk assessments, inspections and identify unsafe conditions
• Conduct risk assessments, JSA/JHA, toolbox talks, and safety inductions
• Ensure compliance with Qatar HSE requirements and applicable international safety standards
• Monitor safe working practices for steel structure fabrication, erection, welding, cutting, lifting, scaffolding, working at height, and construction activities
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and prepare appropriate reports
• Monitor and ensure proper use of PPE by employees and workers
• Coordinate emergency preparedness, fire safety, and emergency response activities
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, permits, and HSE documentation
• Conduct regular toolbox meetings and safety awareness programs
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and management to resolve safety issues
• Ensure proper implementation of permit to work (PTW) procedures
• Report safety violations and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Perform any other HSE duties assigned by management
