Position: Security Systems Installation Supervisor
Department: Projects / Engineering
Reporting To: Project Manager / Construction Manager
Location: Project Site – Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose
Responsible for supervising and coordinating the site installation, testing, commissioning, and integration of electronic security systems, ensuring that all works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, client requirements, and applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise day-to-day installation activities for CCTV, Access Control, Perimeter Intrusion Detection, Intercom, Security Management Systems, Video Management Systems, ANPR, barriers, gates and other ELV/security systems.
• Coordinate installation activities with the main contractor, client, consultants, civil, electrical, telecom and other subcontractor teams.
• Review approved IFC drawings, shop drawings, method statements, ITPs and material approvals before commencing installation.
• Ensure proper installation of cameras, poles, cabinets, access-control devices, fiber-optic and copper cabling, network equipment, servers, workstations and field devices.
• Supervise cable pulling, termination, splicing, labeling, testing and dressing activities.
• Ensure compliance with approved installation standards, manufacturer recommendations and project specifications.
• Monitor installation progress against the approved project schedule and report delays or site constraints to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with engineering teams regarding technical issues, drawing discrepancies, RFIs and site modifications.
• Conduct regular inspections of installation works and ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements.
• Coordinate pre-commissioning, testing and commissioning activities with the commissioning team.
• Support system integration and interface testing with other systems such as access control, telecom, network infrastructure and security management platforms.
• Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, inspection requests, material records, testing records and punch-list status.
• Coordinate with client/consultant inspectors for WIR/MIR, testing and commissioning approvals.
• Ensure all punch-list items are identified, tracked and closed before handover.
• Supervise technicians and subcontractor manpower and ensure proper allocation of resources.
• Ensure compliance with site HSE requirements, PTW, toolbox talks and safe working practices.
• Support preparation of as-built drawings, test reports, commissioning documents and final handover documentation.
• Participate in site meetings and provide technical/progress updates to the Project Manager.
Systems Experience
The candidate should preferably have experience with:

• Network switches and PoE infrastructure
• System integration and control-room solutions
Qualification & Experience
• Diploma/bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecom, Instrumentation, IT or related engineering discipline.
• Typically, min 5 years of experience in security/ELV systems installation, preferably in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, utilities or industrial projects.
• Strong experience in supervising installation teams and subcontractors.
• Good understanding of IP networking, fiber optics, TCP/IP, VLANs and PoE.
• Experience with testing and commissioning of integrated security systems.
• Saudi Aramco / HCIS project experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Aramco standards, HCIS requirements, SAES/SAEP requirements and project-specific specifications is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and cable schedules.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Valid Saudi driving license is an advantage
