Industrial Automation | MOV Actuators | Software Development | Digital Industrial Solutions JOB DETAILS PASS TYPE: NTS POSITION: Product Application & Software Development Engineer – MOV Actuator GENDER: Male AGE: Up to 40 years old BASIC SALARY: SGD $3,000 / month HOUSING ALLOWANCE: SGD $500 / month WORKING HOURS: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM MONTHLY OFF DAYS: 8 days OVERTIME: No JOB SCOPE Develop and maintain software for MOV actuator configuration, monitoring and diagnostics. Develop user interfaces and tools for actuator setup, data collection and visualization. Support communication between actuators, Master Stations, DCS, PLC and other industrial systems. Develop applications involving Modbus and other industrial communication protocols. Support product diagnostics, condition monitoring and digitalization functions. Work with hardware and electrical engineers on system integration and testing. Conduct software testing, debugging and validation. Improve existing software based on customer and field-service feedback. Support remote monitoring, predictive maintenance, data analytics and future AI-enabled applications. Prepare software documentation and user guides. Provide technical application support to internal teams and customers. JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related discipline. Around 3 years of relevant software development experience preferred. Strong programming and software development fundamentals. Experience in industrial automation, IoT, embedded systems or industrial software preferred. Knowledge of Modbus, PLC, SCADA, DCS or industrial communication protocols is an advantage. Ability to understand the interaction between software, electrical hardware and industrial equipment. Experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Instrumentation or Electrical industries preferred. Practical exposure to MOV actuators, electric actuators, valves or industrial equipment is an added advantage. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Good English communication skills.
