LATHE MACHINE OPERATOR

• Operates and maintains lathe, boaring • Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production • Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping • Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task • Set up, operate, or tend drilling machines to drill, bore, ream, mill, or countersink metal pieces • Follow instructions from Supervisors. However when necessary work independently to finish the assigned work in a timely manner.
