Job Description
Good practical knowledge of HV transmission line systems, structures and maintenance practices in 33kV & 132kV OHTL.
Hands-on experience with:- Transmission towers, poles and structures
- Conductors and earth wires/OPGW
- Insulators and insulator strings
- Clamps, connectors and line hardware
- Jumpers and fittings
- Spacers and vibration dampers
- Tower earthing and bonding systems
Experience in OHL inspection, preventive maintenance and defect rectification.
Ability to identify defects in conductors, insulators, tower members, hardware, jumpers and earthing systems.
Experience in tower climbing and working at height using approved safety equipment.
Ability to safely use and maintain hand tools, electrical tools, climbing equipment and OHL maintenance
