PWHT TECHNICIAN

Location: UAE Project Type: Shutdown Project Position: PWHT Technician Interview Mode: Online Interview Joining: Immediate joiners preferred Job Responsibilities Perform Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) on welded joints in accordance with project specifications and approved procedures. Set up, operate, and monitor PWHT equipment, including heating elements, thermocouples, temperature controllers, and recording instruments. Install heating elements and thermocouples correctly on welded components. Monitor and control heating rates, soaking temperatures, and cooling rates as per approved procedures. Maintain accurate temperature charts and heat-treatment records. Inspect equipment and cables before operation to ensure safe working conditions. Coordinate with welding, quality control, and site teams to complete heat-treatment activities as scheduled. Follow all site safety rules and shutdown project requirements. Qualifications ITI, Diploma, or any relevant technical qualification is preferred. Relevant experience in PWHT (Post Weld Heat Treatment) is required. Practical knowledge of PWHT equipment, temperature controllers, and chart recorders. Ability to work in an industrial plant or shutdown environment. Knowledge of safety procedures and heat-treatment documentation is an advantage. Candidate Requirements Candidates with relevant PWHT experience will be preferred. Must be willing to work in a shutdown project environment. Immediate availability for deployment is preferred. Candidates should be ready to attend an online interview.
