• Stainless steel welders fabricate, repair, and maintain stainless steel components and structures. They ensure the quality and integrity of welds by adhering to safety guidelines. The profession requires precision, safety procedures, welding equipment knowledge, and an understanding of the properties of stainless steel.
• Must understand process parameter settings
• Lay out and fabricate metal structural parts such as plates, fittings, frames
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or team lead
• Perform all duties in the spirit of Our Philosophy and in accordance to legal, ethical and contractual practices
• Perform aluminum welding operations
• Manufacture product that meets quality requirements
• Inspect and verify work prior to submitting for inspection
• Keep equipment clean and maintain proper fluid levels
• Welds on all types of metals and alloys in various sizes, shapes and on diversified assemblies, products or structures
• Produce welds subject to x-ray analysis, magnaflux inspection, dye check and/or gas tight pressure or other tests
