We are seeking a highly motivated, Cable machine operator that will oversee the work flow in the manufacture of products. MegaPhase products include coaxial cable, cable assemblies, and connectors. Duties and Responsibilities • Daily Operation of Cable machinery including material loading and set-up of equipment. • Insure Cable product meets mechanical and electrical requirements. • Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings. • Prepare new tooling, maintain tooling and spares inventory. Diagnose and repair die and equipment problems. • Obtains correct material according to work order specifications. • Directs movement and work flow to appropriate work centers. • Measure materials and cut Cable armor to indicated lengths. • Maintain Cable machines including machine lubrication • Verifies and records inventory counts and recommends reorders to ensure available supply. • Suggests manufacturing process improvements. • Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas. • Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations. • Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries. • Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines. • Performs other related duties as assigned.
