Job Description:

Globus is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and assisting in the management of all aspects of the financial documents and process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Processing invoices and payments.
• Reconciling bank statements and accounts.
• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintaining financial records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Most important is that all applicants must be able to speak, read and write in English (Official language of Palau).

Skills:

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience:

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role is often preferred, but many roles are open to fresh graduates.
• Experience with bookkeeping, invoicing, data entry, or handling accounts payable/receivable is beneficial.
